Alex Neil has told his Norwich players they have to keep on fighting despite relegation to the Championship staring them in the face.
Norwich’s fate is out of their hands and they will be relegated to the Championship this evening if Sunderland pick up the three points they need against Everton.
The Canaries entertain Watford tonight knowing they have to win their remaining two games of the season to have any chance of beating the drop and Neil is not giving up just yet.
The Scot is calling on his players to fight to the death and is hoping and praying the relegation battle will go to the last day of the season, when anything could happen.
“The odds are stacked against us, but if it comes down to one match then anything can happen. We need to win,” Neil revealed. “We need to keep believing and carry the fight. We’re focused and still in with a chance, so we need to give ourselves a shot.”
Neil looks set to remain in charge of Norwich next season no matter what happens and he has not given up all hope of still being in the Premier League.
