Norwich boss Alex Neil says Crystal Palace are not safe from the drop yet and has set his sights on catching up with the Eagles.
The Canaries gave their survival chances a huge boost with a crucial 1-0 win over West Brom at the weekend, which leaves them two points above the drop zone.
It turned out to be the perfect weekend for Norwich as Newcastle and Sunderland fought out a 1-1 draw, while Palace slipped to yet another defeat against Leicester City.
Alan Pardew’s men are just five points ahead of the Canaries, and with the two sides due to clash soon, Neil believes they can be sucked right back into it.
“I took that one from where Norwich were two years ago. Five points above the relegation zone with seven games to play, sometimes you can feel as if it’s going swimmingly and suddenly find yourself in trouble,” he said.
“Trying to reverse that around is extremely difficult. Palace haven’t won in 11 games now. They’ll be concerned about that and we’ve got them to play. The more we drag in the better.”
