Norwich boss Alex Neil is adamant that his men can take something from Tuesday’s Premier League encounter with Chelsea.
The Canaries are currently on a dreadful run of form that has seen them pick up just one point from their last seven games, and they were beaten 1-0 by table-topping Leicester in the dying seconds of Saturday’s clash at the King Power Stadium.
It all means that the East Anglia outfit are now just one spot above the relegation places but level on 24 points with 18th-placed Newcastle United.
Many people have now tipped the Carrow Road club for relegation and things will not get any easier this week when a reinvigorated Chelsea arrive.
The Blues are unbeaten in the Premier League since Guus Hiddink arrived and have won their last two games to rise to 11th in the standings.
But that does not faze the Scottish tactician who feels that his side have contributed to their own downfall and have the ability to pull off a shock against the Londoners.
“Over recent weeks we’ve had games where we’ve been in control but for one reason or another we’ve let the lead slip,” he told reporters at Monday’s press conference.
“We seem to be finding ourselves on the wrong end of the results but I am hopeful that is going to change tomorrow. There is no reason why we can’t get a result.”
Punters who agree with Neil might want to use a free bet to back Norwich to beat Chelsea and pull themselves away from the dreaded drop zone.
