Sunderland midfielder Yann M’Vila is looking forward to next week’s derby clash with Newcastle to relive his happiest club memory.
The 25-year-old is on a season-long loan at the Stadium of Light from Russian side Rubin Kazan and there are reports that he could be down for a full-time move in the summer.
M’Vila says he is loving life with the Black Cats and is looking forward to next week’s derby after he played a crucial role in the win at the Stadium of Light last October.
When asked what his best memory was, MÂ’Vila told the club’s website: “The whole match against Newcastle United.
“The fans were amazing, but they’re always amazing, whether we win or not. They give us a special motivation and I think that gives us motivation on the pitch.
“When I play I think of my family, I think of my children, and I think of the fans as well.
“It doesn’t matter where we play the fans are there, and for the supporters it’s part of their lives.”
