Everton’s majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri says he’s “very encouraged” by the club’s impressive start to the season.
The Blues are sitting third in the Premier League after four games on 12 points following Monday’s 3-0 win at Sunderland.
Things have gone smoothly since Ronald Koeman came in to replace Roberto Martinez as manager and Moshiri is delighted with the way his side have started under the Dutchman.
“I am very encouraged by the strong start we have made to the season which is our equal best since the start of the Premier League,” he said.
“Whilst there is a long season ahead, the players have adapted very well to the leadership of our new manager Ronald Koeman and we look forward to maintaining our momentum and a successful season.”
