Spurs have been drawn against CSKA Moscow, Bayer Leverkusen, and Monaco in Champions League Group E.
Tottenham return to Europe’s top competition for the first time since the 2010-11 campaign, where they reached the quarter-finals before being eliminated by Real Madrid.
The White Hart Lane club have been handed what appears to be a reasonably favourable draw on paper with Russian Champions CSKA, Bundesliga outfit Leverkusen and Ligue 1 side Monaco joining them in Group E.
The first group games will take place on September 13 and 14, with the final set to take place on June 3 in Cardiff.
Spurs will play their home group games at Wembley as redevelopment work takes place at White Hart Lane.
