Manchester United have been boosted in their bid to sign Borussia Dortmund star Henrikh Mkhitaryan as his agent claims he wants a move.
The Red Devils have been linked with a swoop for the 27-year-old Armenia international, who only has a year left on his current deal with the German Bundesliga outfit.
Mkhitaryan has already hinted he will not be willing to extend his time in Germany, but Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said earlier this week that he would not be sold in this transfer window.
However this summer will represent the final chance for Dortmund to recoup any fee for the player, while is agent Mino Raiola is hoping to push a deal through to United.
“He wants to go to Manchester United and we are still trying to resolve the situation,” Raiola said.
“We are still talking to Dortmund and working hard on this. We are trying to be reasonable. They are aware that Micki wants to leave now.”
