Everton boss Roberto Martinez is delighted to be able to call upon holding midfielder Gareth Barry for the clash with Watford.
The midfielder has been suspended for the last two matches following his sending off in the FA Cup quarter-final win over Chelsea and he has been badly missed as Everton have slumped to two poor defeats during his absence.
Barry is back in the squad for the clash with Watford, who, like Everton, have hit a poor run of league form since booking their place in the FA Cup semi-finals.
“Gareth has been missed – both in what he brings as a footballer and a leader,” Martinez said.
“HeÂ’s someone people can look up to, someone who is a reference and someone understands what the team needs in certain moments of a game.”
