Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic says he is doing all he can to break into Jurgen Klopp’s first team at Anfield.
Grujic was signed in January but spent the second half of last season on loan at Red Star Belgrade.
Despite shining during pre-season, scoring against Barcelona at Wembley, he has struggled for first-team opportunities and has made just two appearances in the Premier League this season.
He has vowed to break into the side but acknowledges it will not be easy due to the talent on show.
“All of the players in my position, and other positions, are playing very well,” Grujic said to the club’s official website.
“We have had good results to start the season. We had some hard matches away. We will be better from week to week – that’s the most important thing.
“I will try to show my skills in training to get more minutes in the Premier League.”
