Leroy Fer is expected to complete a permanent move to Swansea from QPR next week with a medical scheduled for Friday.
The 26-year-old is tipped to move to the Liberty Stadium in a deal worth around £5million after a successful spell on loan at the club in the second half of last term, when he made 11 appearances.
Fer, signed by QPR from Norwich in 2014, is set to undergo a medical before then returning home to his native Holland before he is due back in the UK early next week, when it is likely the deal will be announced.
Fer has also been linked with Sunderland but is set on a full-time move to Swansea after he enjoyed his time there under Francesco Guidolin.
Netherlands giants PSV Eindhoven were also linked with the midfielder but his preferred option was always to stay in the Premier League if possible and the transfer in the region of £5million should be rubber-stamped in the coming days.
