Dieumerci Mbokani does not plan on staying with Norwich if the club are relegated from the Premier League, reports have claimed.
The DR Congo international arrived on loan from Dinamo Kiev in the summer and the Canaries have the option to buy him on a permanent basis at the end of the season.
However, much will depend on their battle to stay in the top flight, and reports have suggested Mbokani will not consider playing in the Championship if the worst happened.
The 30-year-old has hardly set the world alight when scoring four goals in 22 appearances and there is every chance boss Alex Neil would not take up the option to keep him if the Canaries did beat the drop.
Mbokani has struggled to force his way into the side recently with Neil opting to play Cameron Jerome instead, and a return to Russia looks to be on the cards.
