Juan Mata is reportedly on his way out of Manchester United this summer with Everton readying a sizeable offer.
Mata left Chelsea back in 2014 after falling down the pecking order under manager Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge, joining the Red Devils in a £37.1million deal.
The Spain international has been a regular fixture at Old Trafford since arriving, making 86 Premier League appearances and scoring 21 goals in the process.
However, Mourinho’s appointment as manager of the 20-time English champions has now left serious doubts over the attacking midfielder’s future.
The Portuguese boss is set to let Mata go once again and rumours have been circulating suggesting Everton, who have Ronald Koeman in charge, are ready to offer around £20million.
United’s pursuit of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, which is close to being completed, has added strengths to an exit for the Spanish ace and it seems a matter of time before his time at the Theatre of Dreams comes to an end.
