Lazio are ready to offer Liverpool flop Mario Balotelli a lifeline.
The striker is desperately searching for a new club before the transfer window closes this month after being told he is surplus to requirements at Anfield.
The likes of Ajax and Chievo have been linked with the Italian – but as of yet he is still to receive any concrete offers.
However that could be about to change as, according to Il Messaggero, Lazio are ready to take a punt on Balotelli.
The Serie A side are in need of a new striker following the departure of German star Miroslav Klose.
Balotelli is seen as a viable replacement, but the 26-year-old’s £100,000-a-week wages could prove a stumbling block.
