Manchester City are prepared to pay Juventus £75m for the services of star midfielder Paul Pogba this summer.
City are set for a squad revamp when Pep Guardiola takes over from Manuel Pellegrini in July and the Spaniard has put Pogba at the top of his wish-list.
Juve are aware Pogba will attract interest from a number of Europe’s other big-hitters in the summer, with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid Paris Saint-Germain also expected to make bids.
Barcelona were hot favourites to land the French international, but now according to Sport, City are expected to make the opening bid as they try to complete the signing before Euro 2016 starts.
Juve are still intent on keeping the 23-year-old on their books for another year but could be tempted into selling if they receive an offer in excess of £70m.
