Man City’s Pablo Zabaleta: To stop Cristiano Ronaldo we must KICK him

25 Apr

“Perhaps if I had realised at the time they wanted to get big as quick as they did I would have spent even more money!

“Everything about the club is growing. They are at a level now that is fantastic for the club.

“It’s good that they’re flying the flag (in Europe) for the Premier League, but we need to show that the top teams have similar qualities to Barcelona and Real Madrid.

“This is a great opportunity. They (Real Madrid) have got outstanding individuals but are they collectively a good team when they come under pressure?

“City will undoubtedly do that to them. If they’re not at their best then City can hurt them.”
