Man City star’s future hanging in the balance following latest injury blow

They face Manchester United on Sunday in the derby with star striker Sergio Aguero hoping to kill off their rivals’ top-four hopes.

United will be seven points behind City with eight games to go if they lose the clash at the Etihad Stadium.

Aguero said: “We have to win, even more so because the title is slipping further and further away, and we have to make sure we take fourth place.

“We want the title, but we have to take into account that United are right behind us and it will be a tough game, we will have to play intensely.”

Otamendi is hopeful of being fit despite also going off in the first half against Kiev with a thigh injury.
