Hart suffered a calf injury against Manchester United on Sunday ruling him out of England’s friendlies against Germany and Holland.
But after initially fearing the injury could keep the goalkeeper out for up to a month, City are now confident he will be ready for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final in Paris on April 6.
The news is not so good for Raheem Sterling though.
City confirmed the England forward has been ruled out for up to eight weeks with a groin injury.
Sterling now faces a battle to regain his fitness in time for England’s Euro 2016 campaign, which starts in just over two months.
