Arsenal are reported to be stepping up their interest in Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko but will need to spend big.
The French international is keen to leave Newcastle this summer following their relegation to the Championship and this week Crystal Palace were linked with a surprise move.
Liverpool and Tottenham are also thought to be interested in a deal but now the Gunners could jump to the head of the queue by making an offer for the player.
Arsene Wenger has missed out on a number of midfield targets already this summer, including N’Golo Kante, who joined Chelsea, and could now turn his attention to Sissoko.
The Gunners have been linked before but reports now claim a bid could go in for Sissoko, who has said in the past it is his dream to follow in the footsteps of his idols and play for Arsenal.
However Sissoko will not come cheap and Newcastle are demanding £35million for his signature, following his impressive performances at Euro 2016.
