Arsenal are reported to have joined the race for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku as doubts surround the Jamie Vardy deal.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has put a new striker at the top of his wanted list this summer and made an early move to land Vardy from Champions Leicester City.
However reports are growing that Vardy will reject a move to the Emirates Stadium in favour of staying with the Foxes and Wenger will have to look elsewhere for the striker he craves.
Reports are now rife that Lukaku has emerged as a target as he looks to move his career on to the next level by playing Champions League football next season.
Chelsea and Manchester United have both been linked but neither can offer him the Champions League, and that could put the Gunners in the box seat.
However there is also interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, while the Gunners would also have to be prepared to pay over £60million for his services.
