Everton forward Romelu Lukaku insists he cannot wait to play at Wembley after he grabbed a brace to overcome Chelsea on Saturday night.
Lukaku became the first Everton player to score 35 goals in a season after his magnificent double gave the Toffees the victory in the FA Cup.
Both teams cancelled each other out for the majority of the game but Lukaku did enough to ensure that Everton will travel to Wembley for the semi-finals.
The Belgian has only played 18 minutes at the iconic stadium while on international duty in 2012 and he admits that he cannot wait to experience it as he tries to help his side win the trophy.
“It was the best night I have had in the stadium since I arrived at the club,” he told evertontv.
“I am happy to go to Wembley. I am happy for the team, for the club, as it is something we all wanted. We have come close before so we are now 180 minutes away from glory.
“There is a lot of belief. We know we are a good team and if we have a good day it is tough to beat us.
“It (Wembley) is different for Belgium. It was a nice experience but now playing with my team-mates at Wembley, the biggest venue for football, is going to be good.”
