Everton look set for a tough battle to keep striker Romelu Lukaku after his agent again claimed clubs across Europe want to sign him.
Lukaku’s agent, Mino Raiola, has been vocal in recent days, claiming the Belgium international is a target for a host of top European clubs and the player himself has also indicated he is ready to leave for a side playing Champions League football.
Everton, for their part, insist they want at least £50million for the former Chelsea man but it is clear Lukaku’s camp are agitating for a move.
The 22-year-old has scored 25 goals this season despite the club’s disappointing campaign and that has alerted a number of suitors, according to Raiola.
“Lukaku? Of course, Juventus as a solution could go well,” Raiola is reported to have told Gazzetta dello Sport in the latest batch of quotes.
“But keep an eye on PSG and Real Madrid too for the Everton striker.”
At the weekend, Lukaku, while on international duty, spoke of his desire to play among Europe’s elite next season.
“I’m 23 next summer and it would be nice to play in the Champions League next season,” he said.
