Louis van Gaal orders Man United bad boy Marouane Fellaini to control himself

6 May

Fellaini is facing a three match ban after being charged with violent conduct for elbowing Leicester’s Robert Huth in the throat.

The incident took place at Old Trafford during last weekend’s 1-1 draw with the Premier League champions, when Fellaini reacted to having his hair tugged.

Fellaini, who is not contesting the charge, has earned himself a reputation for being a violent player who leads with his elbows.

And while Van Gaal insists it was a natural reaction from Fellaini to what Huth did, he admits the Belgium international needs to work on his behaviour and discipline.
