Swansea are among the clubs said to be tracking Lorient striker Benjamin Moukandjo before the window closes.
Swansea have been checking out the 27-year-old and will have been impressed by what they have seen as he grabbed a brace in Lorient’s opening day 3-2 defeat at Caen.
The Cameroon international has vast experience after picking up 32 caps for his country and there is no shortage of interest in him with West Brom, Sunderland and Hull also said to be keen.
Moukandjo grabbed 13 goals for Lorient last season and there is a good chance he could be heading to the Premier League before the window closes.
A fee of £9million would be enough to secure a deal and reports are rife that Swans boss Francesco Guidolin wants to get him on board.
