Sunderland defender DeAndre Yedlin look as though he is heading out of the club now his season-long loan has come to an end.
There had been talk that the defender might turn his loan move into a more permanent deal as his prospects at Spurs look bleak but that does not appear to be about to happen.
The 22-year-old has jetted out to the USA to prepare for the Copa America but he tweeted his thanks to the Sunderland fans and that would appear to be the end of his stay on Wearside.
He tweeted: “Had an amazing experience with Sunderland.
“Everyone from the fans to the staff to my teammates were outstanding.
“Delighted for the club that they will be able to play another year in the premier league and I wish the club nothing but the best.”
