Liverpool v Manchester United: Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho’s head-to-head record revealed

Anfield hosts one of the most highly anticipated matches of the Premier League season at Saturday lunchtime, with Manchester United travelling to Merseyside to play Liverpool.

The Red Devils remain undefeated this season, with their Premier League record reading six wins and one draw in seven matches.

Liverpool are five points behind the joint league leaders, having won only three of their games, and they have claimed victory in just one of their last four league fixtures.

United are favourites heading into the game, but Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp can take hope from the fact he has consistently gained the upper hand over his Old Trafford rival, Jose Mourinho.

The pair have clashed seven times throughout their managerial careers, with Klopp winning three of the encounters and Mourinho, the Man United boss, just once. The remaining three matches between Klopp and Mourinho have ended up with a drawn result.
