Liverpool are reportedly planning a triple swoop on Fiorentina for Josip Ilicic, Khouma Babacar and Matias Fernandez.
Forwards are on the agenda for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp ahead of the summer transfer window and ITA Sport Press say La Viola’s attacking trio are targets for the Anfield side.
Slovenia international Ilicic, 28, has been with the Serie A outfit since 2013 and has managed 13 goals in 31 appearances in all competitions this term.
Babacar has found himself out of favour at times this term under Paulo Sousa at the Stadio Artemio Franchi and the 23-year-old could well be on the move this summer, with the Senegalese striker the most likely of the three players to be made available.
Former Villarreal man Fernandez, 29, could be the hardest to snare as he recently extended his contract with the Tuscan outfit until 2018, but the Chile international has still emerged as a possible target for Klopp.
No transfer fee has been suggested by the initial report but a bid in the region of £30million to £35million may be enough to convince Fiorentina to cash in on the trio, as boss Sousa is likely to want to make some changes to his squad should La Viola miss out on Champions League qualification.
Liverpool are also likely to face competition as a number of Premier League rivals are thought to be tracking the trio, with Leicester City and Crystal Palace among those who have been linked with Babacar in the past.
