Jurgen Klopp has moved to dismiss speculation linking Liverpool striker Christian Benteke with a move away from Anfield.
The Beglian forward, 25, is said to be one of three stars targeted by West Ham ahead of their debut season in the Olympic Stadium.
Slaven Bilic’s side are believed to be planning a spending spree this summer, with Michy Batshuayi, Theo Walcott and Benteke on their radar.
On talk of selling the former Aston Villa striker for £25million, Klopp said: “I read transfer rumours in October.
“We work the whole day and of course we work on the squad for next year.
“Of course we think about transfers, we think about everything, but a lot of rumours are really far away from the actual thing.
“It is really funny when you are involved. Sometimes I’ve never heard of the player who has been linked with Liverpool.”
