Liverpool FC news: Divock Origi faces late fitness test ahead of Merseyside derby with Everton

Liverpool are sweating on the fitness of striker Divock Origi ahead of the Merseyside derby at Anfield.

The Belgium striker, who has scored four in as many games for the Reds, reported a back problem after the win at Bournemouth. The 21-year-old missed training on Monday as a precaution and he will have a late assessment ahead of the crunch match with local rivals Everton.

Meanwhile, Kolo Toure struggled with cramp in the Cherries win, so he should recover, but fellow centre-back Martin Skrtel has a groin problem which is likely to rule him out as manager Jurgen Klopp plans to bring back most of the players who were rested at the weekend.
