Adam Lallana is rapidly becoming a fans’ favourite at Anfield.
The Liverpool midfielder scored in the first half, as Jurgen Klopp’s men raced into a comfortable lead against ten men in the 5-1 win over Hull City.
A £25million signing from Southampton in 2014, Lallana is now starting to show his true ability under the German boss.
Lallana opened the scoring on 17 minutes, with James Milner netting two penalties and Sadio Mane scoring, while Ahmed Elmohamady was sent off in the opening 45. Hull’s David Meyler pulled one back but Philippe Coutinho struck just one minute later as the Reds saw out the win which saw them go third in the table.
The 28-year-old has always showed potential but goals have been one big absence in his game. But this season he already has four for club and country.
