Liverpool face further competition to snare Piotr Zielinski from Udinese as AS Milan are keen on the Polish winger.
The Poland international is set to leave Udinese on a permanent basis this summer after two seasons out on loan at Empoli and the Reds have been heavily linked with the 22-year-old.
It is thought Zielinski is keen on a move to the Premier League but so far Liverpool have been unable to reach a deal with Udinese for the 13million euros-rated winger.
Previous reports claimed Napoli have seen a bid accepted but the player himself has rejected the chance to move to the San Paolo and now Gazzetta World say the Rossoneri have emerged as suitors.
Liverpool have themselves accepted a £15million bid from Bournemouth for Jordan Ibe and Jurgen Klopp has confirmed he hopes to trim his squad this summer, with the Anfield outfit likely to step up their pursuit of their own targets when Klopp has managed to offload some of his fringe men who don’t feature in his plans for the season ahead.
However, the Reds may now be forced to mount a serious bid for the Udinese winger regardless of whether or not Ibe agrees a switch to Bournemouth, or any other players move on, as they face the prospect of missing out on Zielinski to Milan.
