It is only a matter of time before Ryan Mason starts adding more goals to his game for Hull, according to Jake Livermore.
The Tigers’ record signing found the back of the net on his debut in the EFL Cup win over Stoke but has not scored since, despite several attempts at goal.
Livermore, who knows Mason well having played alongside him at Tottenham, says there is no need to panic over the midfielder’s lack of goals and feels Hull have signed the “finished article” after watching his development closely.
“He brings a lot of creativity and you saw his finish on his debut, it was fantastic,” Livermore told the Mail.
“Hopefully he brings goals. I’ve seen him play from a young boy. Mentality-wise, he’s matured over the years and he’s becoming a finished article, which is great to see.”
