Leicester’s Okazaki praised for ‘special goal’ but Ranieri maintains philosophy after win

It was the Japan striker’s first goal at the King Power stadium and midfielder Danny Drinkwater said: “Shinji works his socks off, week-in, week-out, he deserves something like that. It was a special goal, a special moment for us.

“We can listen to other teams talk about catching us but the main focus is ourselves.”

Leicester face Crystal Palace on Saturday and with eight games to go the title is in their hands, but captain Wes Morgan said: “We knew it wouldn’t be easy with Rafa taking over.

“All we can do is do our job, keep picking up wins and points. That piles on the pressure on the teams below us. Another three points and we had to dig deep for that.”
