Vardy, just back from suspension, struck in each half while midfielder Andy King’s crisp finish completed the rout.

Not that he majority of the 32,500 jammed into a jumping stadium cared a jot about the actual outcome.

Their heroic Foxes had already secured the club’s first-ever championship – with two games to spare – meaning last night’s final home game was irrelevant.

One guy, however, was bothered – the Foxes manager who had masterminded arguably the greatest sporting triumph in history.
