Everton midfielder Ryan Ledson has extended his loan spell with Cambridge United.
The 18-year-old moved to the League Two club in November and was due to leave at the end of March.
However, the youngster has impressed so much that U’s boss Shaun Derry has opted to extend his stay until the end of the season.
Ledson has made 22 appearances during his loan spell and has appeared for England’s under-19s during that time too.
Cambridge are 12th in the division, with just three wins in their last ten fixtures, but just five points off the play-offs.
