Chelsea are being linked with a move for Brazilian midfielder Felipe Anderson, who has been told he is free to leave Lazio.
The 23-year-old arrived in Rome in a blaze of glory three years ago, but he has failed to live up to expectations and Lazio are now ready to move him on.
Felipe still managed to chip in with seven goals last season as Lazio finished eighth in Serie A, and reports in the Italian media claim new Blues boss Antonio Conte is interested.
The link may have surfaced after Felipe joined up with the agent Giuliano Bertolucci, who is known to have close links to Chelsea and could help broker a deal.
Felipe would be seen more as a squad player rather than a regular in Conte’s first-team, but the winger could be a valuable addition nonetheless.
