West Ham have made a significant transfer move after reportedly completing the signing of Manuel Lanzini for around £9m.
The 23-year-old Argentine is on loan at the club for the season following his summer arrival from UAE outfit Al Jazira, but the Hammers had been keen to get the deal tied up as soon as possible in order to avoid anyone else nipping in and signing him.
They have apparently succeeded in doing just that, according to David Sullivan’s Jack, who has revealed on Twitter that the former River Plate midfielder has signed for four years with a further two-year option.
He posted: “Lanzini is a WHU player for the next 4 seasons, with a further 2 year option. #COYI”.
