West Brom striker Rickie Lambert has hinted he could depart in the summer after a frustrating debut campaign with the club.
The 34-year-old joined the Baggies last summer for a reported £3million after struggling to get enough gametime with Liverpool.
However, the striker failed to force his way into the first team at the Hawthorns on a regular basis with all but five of his 19 league appearances coming from the bench.
Lambert has admitted it has not been a great season and revealed he will see what happens this summer as he looks to consider his options.
“It’s not been a good season for me personally. I’ve found it hard to get a run and when I have I’ve found it hard to score goals. It’s been frustrating for me, Lambert told the Express & Star.
“Any time in the past it’s not mattered what my form was because my confidence was there but because I’ve not hit the ground running and not scored the goals I’ve found it hard to get up to pace. It’s been a frustrating season, so we will see what happens in the summer.”
