Hull could offer West Brom striker Rickie Lambert the chance to kick-start his career at the KCOM Stadium, reports have claimed.
Lambert was a revelation during his time with Southampton, but his career stuttered after earning a dream move to Liverpool in 2014, and things have not been much better with the Baggies since his move to the Hawthorns last summer.
The 34-year-old was an unused substitute as Albion beat Crystal Palace on the opening day of the season and with Baggies boss Tony Pulis expected to sign another striker, he could slip further down the pecking order.
Hull are in desperate need of new players before the transfer deadline passes and reports suggest a swoop for Lambert could be on the cards sooner rather than later.
Lambert himself is desperate to play regular first-team football and may be interested in a move to Hull, should the Tigers follow up their interest by making a bid.
