Liverpool star Adam Lallana feels manager Jurgen Klopp can build on his first season at Anfield and lead the club forward next term.
Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers in October and guided Liverpool to two finals, although both ended in defeat for the Anfield outfit.
The Reds also failed to qualify for European football next season after finishing eighth in the Premier League but Lallana is convinced the club are on the rise under the German manager’s guidance and he expects an improvement in results in the 2016-17 campaign.
“The manager at Liverpool has the right balance between making you feel loved and wanted but also he can still tell you when he is not happy and can get a reaction out of you,” the England international told the club’s official website.
“ThatÂ’s a huge reason why we had a good season – even though we didnÂ’t win silverware, we reached two finals. You definitely saw his philosophy gradually evolving. If we can do that on a more consistent basis, hopefully next year will be very good for us.”
