Birmingham City and Sheffield Wednesday have joined Leeds United in the race to sign Norwich striker Kyle Lafferty.
Championship clubs have just a few days to add players to their ranks before the emergency loan window closes later this week and the race is on to sign Lafferty.
Leeds have been in the hunt to sign the Northern Ireland international for some time but they now face a battle with Birmingham and the Owls for the player’s signature.
Lafferty will himself be delighted to have options as he desperately tries to secure a move away from Carrow Road before the window slams shut, and will be keeping his fingers crossed.
Both Wednesday and Birmingham are in the promotion shake-up but Lafferty will want assurances over his first-team chances ahead of Euro 2016.
