Ronald Koeman insists he and Les Reed will only talk about his future after the final game of the season against Crystal Palace.
The Saints boss was cagey when asked if he wanted to extend his contract with the club as speculation continues to link him with an exit as he approaches the final year of his present deal.
Koeman revealed that Reed has contacted him and that he has confirmed he will meet the Saints executive director as soon as the season has finished..
He said: “I had a short talk yesterday afternoon about the future, and I said ‘let’s drink a coffee and have a talk after the Crystal Palace game.’
“After the season I think itÂ’s normal that you talk about this season.
“Everybody knows I have left one year contract but if the club likes to have a talk about that I listen.
“That’s what I like to do.”
