Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool need to be wary of Chelsea on Friday night but he’s upbeat over his side’s chances at Stamford Bridge.
The Reds head for west London on the back of Saturday’s impressive 4-1 win over champions Leicester and Klopp was in typical positive mood in his press conference as he looks for another victory on Friday.
The German admits the Blues have plenty of players to be wary of in the clash and his side may have to be even better than they were against the Foxes – but he has faith in his own players.
He told reporters: “There is still space for improvement and we need to improve for the Chelsea game. They have so much experience. We are much younger.
“Oscar, Willian, what a player, (Nemanja) Matic, they brought in (N’Golo) Kante and (David) Luiz. It’s a challenge but I feel good when I think about it.”
“Friday night is one of the best moments to play football. Let’s go for it,” he added.
