Jurgen Klopp says he’s already planning for next season amid reports the Liverpool boss will get plenty of money to spend this summer.
The Reds boss is likely to oversee several incomings and outgoings at Anfield over the summer when the transfer window reopens as he looks to bring in some of his own players to boost the squad he inherited from Brendan Rodgers.
Centre-back Joel Matip will join on a free transfer from Schalke, while Red Star Belgrade midfielder Marko Grujic will also arrive in the close season but Klopp is expected to splash out further on new faces.
The former Borussia Dortmund chief says he and his backroom staff are already working hard on identifying targets and assessing the squad at their disposal.
“We will plan for next season, that is clear. We have to wait for the right moment and we have to think about a lot of things,” he said.
“I cannot say we are close to this decision or that decision but we work the whole day and it is not only preparing for games.
“We have to plan the future and that is what we are doing.”
