Swansea midfielder Ki Sung-Yueng says Arsenal will be fired up for tonight’s clash as a defeat could end their title challenge.
The Swans are in desperate need of three points to boost their survival bid, but the same can be said of the Gunners as they look to stay in the Premier League title race.
Defeat against Manchester United at the weekend means the Gunners are now five points behind leaders Leicester City and they cannot afford to lose any more ground – with Titanbet pricing the Foxes at 37/20 and Arsenal at 11/4 to win the title.
Ki believes they will be even more fired up to win the game and says Swansea will have to be at the very top of their game to stop them.
“If they lose against us I think it’ll be hard for them to challenge for the title,” Ki said. “It’s going to be tough, but we have confidence because last year we had a good game against Arsenal away and the year before.
“Last year was a good experience, but the situation is not the same. They are challenging for the league and we are near the bottom so the game will be more difficult.”
