The Black Cats are currently bottom of the pile in the Premier League after failing to win any of their first seven matches, two draws the best they have to show from the early part of the campaign.

A season of struggle therefore appears to be on the cards again for the Wearsiders, who face a big game at second-bottom Stoke City on Saturday.

Despite Sunderland’s awful start, Khazri says he is not unduly concerned and feels the wins will start to come if David Moyes’ team keep plugging away.

“No panic, we need to work hard every day and play 100 per cent every game,” when asked by the Shields Gazette about Sunderland’s start to the season, Khazri replied.

“If we do that then the goals and the wins will come back. We need to keep working hard.

“It has been a poor start to the season, two points from seven games is not good. Now we need to work together and look to take the three points in the next game.”
