Crystal Palace have been boosted by the news Connor Wickham, Emmanuel Adebayor and Yohan Cabaye should all return this week.
All three players were forced to sit out the 2-2 draw with West Ham United at the weekend, but boss Alan Pardew says they should be back available this week.
The news comes as a big boost to Pardew as the Eagles are still too close to the relegation zone for comfort and are in desperate need of more points.
Dwight Gayle scored the crucial equaliser at the weekend, but Pardew is looking forward to having more competition for places in his attack.
“Gayle got a goal. That is important,” Pardew said. “He is our goalscorer and weÂ’ve missed his goals. Dwight is a funny player because he scores unbelievable goals in training and is probably our most natural goalscorer.
“We are going to have to lean on him. He’s been in the gym while he’s been out injured and he looks bigger and stronger in the shirt now. That period when he hasnÂ’t played may have helped his all round game.
“Connor Wickham should come back this week, Adebayor and Cabaye should be back. I’ve not had a striker problem all season, so that’ll be nice to have.”
