Chelsea are keen on Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland and Southampton’s Fraser Forster as doubts surround the future of Thibaut Courtois.
Courtois has refused to offer any assurances that he will remain at Stamford Bridge beyond the end of this season and Real Madrid are believed to be keen.
Los Blancos had been chasing Manchester United’s David de Gea but they are now understood to have targeted Belgium international Courtois, who won La Liga with Atletico Madrid in the 2013-14 season.
The Blues do have former Potters goalkeeper Asmir Begovic as their current back-up and he has impressed when called upon this term but reports say Antonio Conte wants another shot-stopper if Courtois does depart and Forster has been lined up as a target.
The Saints custodian has impressed since returning from a serious knee injury earlier this season and is set to travel to Euro 2016 with England, and Chelsea are ready to make a move if Real step up their interest in Courtois.
Butland also remains on Chelsea’s radar and a bid could be made once the youngster recovers from the serious ankle injury that has ruled him out of Euro 2016.
