Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris says it is vital France return to the Stade de France as they prepare to host Russia on Tuesday.
The French national team have not played in the arena since the terror attacks in Paris back in November during their friendly with Germany but they are set to return on Tuesday night.
There will be a huge security operation for the game but Lloris, who is captain of France, says it is time they went back there to play.
He told reporters: “After a trauma like that, there has to be a day after.
“I think it’s important to return to the Stade de France. For us as players, but also for the public – to rediscover our bearings and some confidence.
“We have to continue to live and to live our passion together. Whether you’re a player, a supporter or a journalist, it’s important.”
