Chelsea have been alerted to the news Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante is open to a move away from the Foxes this summer.
The midfielder, who netted his first international goal for France during Wednesday’s 4-2 victory over Russia, has been one of the stand-out players for the Foxes this season, forming an excellent partnership with Danny Drinkwater in the middle of the park.
His performances have caught the attention of several big clubs, according to reports, with the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Juventus all believed to be keen to snap up the 25-year-old.
Kante only joined Leicester from French side Caen last summer but says there are no guarantees he will stay at the King Power Stadium beyond this season, even if the Foxes do win the Premier League.
“I will fight for Leicester this season and next season we never know and we will see,” he told Sky Sports.
“At this moment I am focused on Leicester. We have to finish well this season but I don’t mind about [being linked with] the other clubs.”
