New signing Dani Alves expects Paul Pogba to stay at Juventus – despite interest from Manchester City and Manchester United.
Pogba is wanted by all of Europe’s big clubs this summer and he could well be on the move for a world-record fee.
Manchester City and Manchester United are interested in the Frenchman, while Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are very keen too.
However Alves, who joined Juventus from Barcelona for free on Monday, expects to be playing alongside Pogba during the upcoming season.
“I think he (Pogba) is an important element of the team and a really great player,” said Alves during his unveiling.
“I expect to play alongside him, which is going to be a great honour. There are other incredible players in this team as well, who also have a lot to say for themselves.
“I’m truly delighted to share this experience with them. A team is formed up of individuals, and it’s when they come together that you can achieve results.”
